Important 2005 Canadian Income Tax Dates
February 28 - Corporate income tax is due by this date, except for certain Canadian-controlled private corporations that claim the small business deduction (see below).
February 28 - Businesses must send out T4/T4A slips to income recipients and file T4/T4A information returns by this date.

March 1 - Deadline for making a contribution to a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) that can be deducted on your 2004 income tax return.
March 15 - First 2005 payment due for taxpayers required to pay tax by installments.
March 31 - Corporate income tax due for certain Canadian-controlled private corporations that claim the small business deduction.
April 30 - 2004 Canadian income tax returns for individual taxpayers are due on or before this date.
June 15 - Filing deadline for self-employed taxpayers, although taxes owing for 2004 must still be paid by April 30 to avoid interest charges.
June 15 - Second 2005 installment payment due.
June 15 - GST Returns due for registrants who file annually with a December 31 year end. GST owing for 2004 must be remitted by April 30 to avoid penalties and interest.
June 30 - Due date for T2 returns for corporations with a Dec. 31 year-end.
September 15 - Third 2005 installment payment due.
December 15 - Fourth 2005 installment payment due.
